Mona Kamdjou

Emerging Venture Analyst


Biography

Mona is a second year MBA student at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management. Born and raised in Maryland, she moved to the west coast after high school. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Her career began in digital media, gaining experience in gaming, online, social media and mobile platforms.

 While at the Graduate School of Management, Mona became interested in sustainable practices. In winter quarter of her first year, she was selected to be a Mayoral Fellow for Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson under his Greenwise initiative. She spent this summer in Washington, D.C., working as a Summer Associate for the U.S. Green Building Council. One of her main responsibilities was to research sustainability initiatives that the top 20 school districts were undertaking for the USGBC's Center for Green Schools, K-12 division. Mona also received her LEED Green Associate credentials.
